Your First Booking

Create a test booking and verify that your branch is set up correctly - from both the admin and customer perspectives.

Your First Booking

After completing the wizard, we recommend creating a test booking - this verifies that everything works correctly from available times to confirmation notifications.

Method 1: Booking from the Admin Panel

As an administrator, you can create a booking directly in the calendar (also useful for phone orders):

  1. Go to Admin > Calendar
  2. Click on an empty spot at the desired time
  3. Select a service (Service Provider) or set a time range (Private Space)
  4. Fill in the customer's contact details
  5. Confirm with the Create Booking button

To accept online bookings from customers, you need at least one product/service with a price and duration set up in Admin > Services.

Method 2: Booking from the Customer's Perspective

Try the booking process to see exactly what your customers will see. The link to the public booking page can be found in the admin panel:

Service Provider

  1. Service selection - the customer sees the service catalog with prices and durations
  2. Time selection - the calendar shows only times when at least one employee is available
  3. Personal details - name, email, phone
  4. Payment (if configured) - online payment via Stripe
  5. Confirmation - summary and confirmation email

Private Space

  1. Time selection - click to mark the start and end of the booking (e.g., 16:00-17:30)
  2. Personal details - contact information
  3. Payment and confirmation

Verifying in the Admin Panel

After creating a test booking, verify:

  • Admin > Calendar - the booking appears as a colored block in the correct position
  • Admin > Bookings - table overview with filters by date, status, or employee
  • Booking details - date, time, customer details, status, and price match what was entered

Troubleshooting

  • No available timeslots? Check opening hours, employee assignments to services, and that you have at least one active service
  • Customer didn't receive a confirmation email? Verify notification settings in Admin > Settings > Notifications and check spam
  • Wrong price? Check pricing settings for the service; for Private Space, verify pricing rules
