Smart Lock Monitoring

Smart lock monitoring is a unified dashboard that displays the status of all connected locks regardless of manufacturer (both TTLock and Nuki). Here you'll find an overview of connection status, battery levels, recent activity, and the ability to manage lock-to-branch assignments.

Accessing the Monitoring Dashboard

  1. Log in to the Reservine admin panel
  2. Go to Settings > Smart Locks

The monitoring dashboard displays locks from all integrations at once. If you have both TTLock and Nuki connected, you'll see both types of locks in one place.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard shows the following information for each connected lock:

Connection Status

  • Online -- the lock is reachable and responds to commands. The gateway/Bridge is connected and communication is working
  • Offline -- the lock is not reachable. The most common cause is a gateway/Bridge outage or loss of WiFi connection

Battery Level

Battery status is color-coded by charge level:

Last Activity

For each lock, you can see the timestamp of the last recorded activity -- e.g., the last unlock, lock, or status synchronization.

Branch Assignment

Each lock can be assigned to a specific branch. Unassigned locks do not display alerts and do not generate PIN codes.

Filtering by Branch

If you have multiple branches with smart locks, you can filter the list:

  1. At the top of the dashboard, you'll find a branch selector
  2. Choose a specific branch to display only its locks
  3. To display all locks, select the option to show all branches

Automatic and Manual Synchronization

Automatic Refresh

The dashboard automatically updates every 30 seconds. You don't need to manually refresh for a basic overview.

Manual Synchronization

For an instant status update:

  1. Click the Sync button at the top of the dashboard
  2. Reservine will contact the APIs of all connected locks and fetch the latest data
  3. Statuses will update immediately

Manual synchronization is useful when you've just made a change (e.g., replaced batteries) and want to see the current status without waiting for the automatic refresh.

Regenerating PIN Codes

If you need to regenerate PIN codes for a specific reservation (e.g., after a lock outage, battery replacement, or technical issue):

  1. Find the relevant lock in the dashboard
  2. Click the Regenerate PIN action (Reapply PINs)
  3. Reservine will recreate PIN codes for all active reservations assigned to that lock
  4. Customers will receive updated access details

After regenerating PIN codes, the original codes will stop working. Customers will be automatically notified of the new codes.

Assigning Unassigned Locks

If some locks remain unassigned after connecting a TTLock or Nuki account:

  1. They will appear in the unassigned locks section of the dashboard
  2. For each one, click Assign to Branch
  3. Select the target branch from the list
  4. After assignment, the lock will automatically start generating PIN codes for that branch's reservations

Activity Log

For each lock, you can view a detailed activity log:

  1. Click on a specific lock in the dashboard
  2. A panel with the activity history will open
  3. Records include:
    • Time -- exact timestamp of the event
    • Action type -- unlock, lock, synchronization
    • Initiator -- who performed the action (customer, admin, automated system)
    • Reservation -- associated reservation number (if it was a customer access)

The activity log is useful for:

  • Verifying that a customer actually arrived during their reservation time
  • Diagnosing access issues
  • Security auditing -- who accessed the lock and when
