How to configure automatic email, SMS, and WhatsApp notifications for various events in the reservation process.

Notification Setup

Automatic notifications keep your customers informed about the status of their reservations. Reservine supports three communication channels and seven notification types that you can individually configure for each branch.

Where to Find the Settings

Go to Settings > Branch > Notifications in the admin panel. Settings are specific to each branch.

Notification Types

1. Reservation Confirmation

Sent immediately after a reservation is created. Contains date, time, service, employee, and branch address.

2. Pending Approval Confirmation

Sent when a reservation requires manual approval by an administrator. Informs the customer that their request was received.

3. Pre-Appointment Reminder

Sent at a configurable time before the reservation (typically 24 hours). Contains a reminder of the appointment and a maps link.

Reminders significantly reduce no-shows. For high-value services, we recommend a combination of 24 hours and 2 hours before start.

4. Rescheduling Notification

Sent when the time of an existing reservation is changed. Contains both the new and original time.

5. Cancellation Notification

Sent when a reservation is cancelled. Contains cancellation information and any refund details.

6. No-Show Notification

Sent when an administrator marks the customer as a no-show.

7. Thank You for Visiting

Sent after service completion (configurable delay). Contains a thank-you message and a link to leave a review.

Configuration

For each notification type, you set:

  1. Active channels -- email, SMS, WhatsApp (independently)
  2. Timing -- when to send (relevant for reminders and thank-you)
  3. Content -- text customization (see Email Templates)

For some notifications, you can also configure delivery to employees (new reservation, cancellation, no-show).

SMS and WhatsApp messages consume credits. With a high volume of reservations, monitor usage and top up in time to avoid interrupting communication.
