How to create percentage and fixed discounts, gift cards, generate QR codes, and manage voucher validity and usage.
Vouchers & Discount Codes
Vouchers are a tool for boosting sales, rewarding loyal customers, and acquiring new ones. You'll find them in Vouchers in the admin side menu.
Three Types of Vouchers
Percentage Discount
Deducts a specific percentage from the total order price. Example: SUMMER20 provides a 20% discount -- the customer pays 400 CZK for a 500 CZK service. Suitable for seasonal promotions, first visits, social media campaigns.
Fixed Discount
Deducts a fixed amount from the order price. Example: SAVE100 -- a 100 CZK discount regardless of order value. Suitable for one-time promotions, compensations, or partnerships.
Gift Card (Gift Voucher)
Works as a prepaid credit. Example: a card for 1,000 CZK -- the recipient uses it for a 600 CZK service, 400 CZK remains for the next visit. Suitable for gifts, corporate benefits, contests.
Creating a Voucher
- Go to Vouchers and click Add Voucher
- Choose the voucher type
- Set the value of the discount
- Configure parameters:

| Voucher code | Unique code (auto-generated or custom) |
| Usage limit | How many times total the voucher can be used |
| Valid from/to | Date range of validity |
| Minimum order | Minimum amount required to apply |
| Discount application | Per time block individually, or per entire reservation |
| Redemption rules | On all items, or only on the X cheapest items |
The choice between per-block vs. per-reservation application matters. With 3 blocks at 200 CZK each and a 100 CZK per-block voucher, the customer saves 300 CZK. With a per-reservation discount, they save only 100 CZK.
Distributing Vouchers
Reservine automatically generates a QR code (for flyers, business cards, storefront) and a share link (for email, SMS, social media) for each voucher.
Voucher Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Customers can use it |
| Blocked | Temporarily deactivated by an administrator |
| Expired | Validity has ended |
| Exhausted | All uses have been consumed |
| Not Yet Valid | Future start date |
You can block a voucher at any time (e.g., if you suspect misuse) and later unblock it. In the voucher detail, you can see the total number of uses, who and when used it, which reservation it was applied to, and how much was saved.
Practical Scenarios
"First Visit Discount" promotion: Percentage discount 15%, code FIRST15, unlimited usage, share link on website.
Christmas Gift Card: Gift card for 1,000 CZK, auto-generated code, 12-month validity, QR code on physical cards.
Customer compensation: Fixed discount 200 CZK, code SORRY-JANA, limit 1, 3-month validity, email directly to the customer.
